Is natural black Brazilian slate suitable for a patio garden or is it better to use flagstonesRead now
I'm planning to use slate split face tiles for the back-drop to an outdoor water feature that will have constant splash from running water and a reservoir.
The tiles will be exposed to the extremes of Summer and Winter, plus to complicate matters, they will need to applied Vertically to both brickwalls and 2m2 of marine plywood.
What preparation and adhesive would you recommend to bond these to the structure -
Especially the marine plywood ??
Also any other general goods tips you can offer for this type of job ??
I would like to order some Brazilian Black Natural Riven pavers for my patio.
Can you please let me know if these are suitable? What thickness should I use and what base is needed? Also do we need to grout between them, or can they be laid without any gap (our preference).
How do we know how many of each size to order if we choose a pattern
Thanks for your help.
Your 400 by 200 grey Brazilian slate tiles are they suitable for a bathroom floor and wall. I have the smallest bathroom so this size would look great . The picture I'm looking at shows them on the floor but it says wall tiles. Thankyou for you timeRead now
