Tiling onto Marble/existing tiles

I want to cover an existing marble fire surround with Eco Mini Black Split Face Slate Tiles.

How should I prepare the surface of the marble and what adhesive would you recommend?

it is possible to tile onto the existing Marble as long as the surface is correctly primed.

You should apply Mapei Eco Prim Grip to prime the area, and tile using Mapei Keraquick Adhesive.
