How can we finish the edges of our limestone tiles?
Read nowWhat would you recommend for covering ends and corners.
We installed the fine beige moleanos limestone tiles in the bathroom on the floors and the walls that surround the walk-in shower.
Where the stone ends and the painted wall begins the edge stone edge looks unfinished. Is there a bullnose-type option for stone like there is with tile?

Can you advise me on damp proofing and underfloor heating insulation?
Read nowHi, I'm looking to buy and install approx. 30 square meters of your slate floor (not sure which one yet!)
I wondered if you could give me any advice as my dining room floor is currently quarry tiled but damp and salt comes out of these tiles so I guess I need to damp proof it somehow?
Can you advise me what I need to use?
I also plan to install electric underfloor heating but am unsure of what sort of insulation I need to put down, can you recommend?
Thanking you in advance Craig Furzer

Can you advise exactly how I should lay cladding panel tiles outdoors?
Read nowI am looking at using your riven slate panel cladding on a structure outside (the outer building to a woodfire oven).
The structure will be made of 9mm WBP secured to frame work, I will stress there is no direct heat coming from the oven to this outer building.
From previous questions am i correct in thinking the wbp should be treated first with an acrylic followed by a bonding agent then the tiles applied using a flexible adhesive?
Can you recommend which brands for outside use?

Using Slate Tiles Inside To Match Outside
Read nowI would like to use tiles that look the same in our kitchen and on our patio, and am thinking of the Brazilian black slate.
Can we use the same slate tiles inside and outside or is it best to use specific external tiles for the outside?
If so, is there a combination you'd recommend which will look like the same tiles? Thanks!

What Brazilian slate and adhesive products will be best for an area which is prone to flooding?
Read nowI am looking for a slate product that I can use in a wet room.
We are very close to the sea and it has been known for high tides to bring water up through the drains / floor so it would need to be very hard wearing.
Preference would be for a multicoloured slate not black.
Also advice on adhesives. Thanks
