Is the brushed slate suitable for me to use in my kitchen/diner and out onto my patio? Is it slippery? Thank you very much.

Can I ask why your tiles are so much cheaper than others I have seen in topps today? Are they seconds?

We are wanting to put stepped slate cladding on the back wall of the cloakroom, we have a wall mounted basin unit and toilet, is it possible to mount these against the tiles.

Our builder has asked us to check how long we have to wait until we can install our slate tiles on a newly laid Anhydrite Screed

I have grouted my slate floor, but I can't seem to get the tiles completely clean, there remains a light cloudy dust on the tile itself.

I've gone over the tiles several times with a clean sponge, clean water and I can't seem to get that cloudy dusty look off from the grout.

Once it dries it goes back to the dusty look. Have spent an easy 2 hours on a small portion just trying to get it clean. How do I get it off?

Once the final seal is on will it just cover it, or will it show up?

Is there some sort of solution I should buy to clean with? Is it possible that I didn't put enough initial seal on and therefore the slate is absorbing in the dirty water?

Please could you advise me on how I can remove grout from my riven slate tiles.

These tiles have been down for a number of years and I foolishly thought that I could freshen up the grout.

Thinking that the sealant that had previously been applied would protect the tiles I went ahead and applied the grout but left it on the surface for to long before trying to remove it and now have a big problem!!

At what point in the whole process should I seal my natural slate tiles, before I lay them or once laid but before grouting?

I have had someone help me install my new slate floor and it seems to still have a cloudy film on the floor.

We have not put the pre sealer on yet, but the more it is cleaned off the more it seems to get cloudy

Can you lay slate floor tiles over a plywood floor or do you have to install cement board over the plywood?
