What is the difference between bonding and adhesive?

Is bonding necessary on a concrete floor for my new slate tiles?

We have black stuff on our concrete floor (may be cut back) its not sticky its smooth what primer could i put on top before laying the slate or what should i do

Please can you advise exactly how i should lay my riven slate tiles outdoors? I was told i can use them with no problems if they go onto a solid concrete base. Please advise step by step so i can show my husband. thankyou very much in advance.

Is it possible to use real slate tiles on a slanted ceiling. If so what adhesive would you recommend. thanks

I notice that some split slate cladding tiles are not recommend for direct exposure to water.

Why is this and are other split slate product that can be used in a shower, if so which ones?

We laid half a floor of tiles yesterday only to find this morning that many had not "set" ie they were not attached to the adhesive.

What have we done wrong?

We have 2 dogs and I would like to know can the slate tiles be easily scratched

Can you recommend a product for cleaning the floor tiles each week now they are installed and have been sealed.
