I want to cover an existing marble fire surround with Eco Mini Black Split Face Slate Tiles.

How should I prepare the surface of the marble and what adhesive would you recommend?

I've received samples of the chiselled edge slate tiles and we love them.

I am unsure of how to lay them because of the angle and thickness of the edges. Do you butt the tiles up to the next or leave a very small gap as a grout joint?

Hi, I'm looking for a top stone with bevelled or decorative edges at 30-50mm thick.

Not exactly sure of the diameter yet but as a guide let's say 30cm square. It's to be the top stone for the top of a x2 brick wide brick pillar.

I like slate but I'm open to other ideas or suggestions.

I'll also need some matching colour & texture stones for the ground....have you got anything please?

We have installed the split face slate on a feature wall behind our log burner and now want to carry this outside on to our patio wall

- is it suitable for outdoor use, and if so, what product would you recommend to seal it correctly?
