Split face tiles in a wet environment

Can the White Quartz Split Face Tiles be used on a wall with direct contact to water like a shower?

Due to the nature of these panels, and the fact that they can't be grouted, we recommend not to use them in an area where they will come into direct contact with water.

The panels are made up from individual pieces of tile which are glued together on the back. There may be small areas where the tiles are butted up to each other where you cannot achieve a water tight seal. Any water ingress- no matter how small- will result in the tiles possibly coming away from the wall, and potentially causing damage to the surface behind the tile.
