What Brazilian slate and adhesive products will be best for an area which is prone to flooding?

I am looking for a slate product that I can use in a wet room.

We are very close to the sea and it has been known for high tides to bring water up through the drains / floor so it would need to be very hard wearing.

Preference would be for a multicoloured slate not black.

Also advice on adhesives. Thanks

Hello Martyn

The Brazilian multicolour slate would work really well in a wet room installation and would recommend either the 1 part Rapid set adhesive (no underfloor heating) or the Ultimate flex (with underfloor heating).

Once set, the adhesives will be water resistant but could be subject to failure if flooded (underwater) for prolonged periods of time as these products are not designed for full immersion.
