Make your own hearth with our 900mm x 600mm hearth tiles.
These are sold individually and come in 900mm length x 600mm width 20mm thickness.
Available in different variants of slate you can quickly and easily create your own hearth in either a standard Rectangular Format (2 tiles) or T Shape (3 Tiles).
Our slate hearth tiles come in 2 different textures
Black Riven Slate - The surface of the slate is a consistently riven texture with a small areas of a heavier riven nature.
Black Very Riven Slate - The surface of the slate is very riven texture across each tile showing where the slate has been split when it was mined. When matching these you will see texture and tonal differences from tile to tile, hence the more reasonable cost.
Neither of these are "smooth" to touch.
When creating your own hearth from these you can secure them down with standard flexible tile adhesive and please remember to account for the industry standard of 5mm of grout between them. If you need to trim them our slate cuts lovely so long as it is very wet and you have a good quality diamond blade on your grinder.
