I've just got your white quartz split face tiles and I am concerned about getting the tiles dirty whilst cutting them as I need to use a wet cutter, can you advise me if I should seal the tiles before cutting?

I've just got your white quartz split face tiles and I am concerned about getting the tiles dirty whilst cutting them as I need to use a wet cutter, can you advise me if I should seal the tiles before cutting?

Or lay the tiles dirty and use a good quality tile cleaner?

Any help would be great

Hello Steve

Thanks for your question.

You could seal the tiles before cutting if you wished, you would just need to make sure that you had enough space to lay all the tiles out to 'air dry' following sealing.

It is worth noting that it's recommended as standard to cut these tiles with a water fed cutter, in theory if your water reservoir contains clean water, you should be ok to cut and then seal when the tiles are in situ.

Hope this helps but if you do have any further questions, please feel free to ask or call our sales team on 01283 730388.
