What product's would you recommend for sealing and giving a satin/satin-gloss finish on honed slate?

Hello,

I have a honed slate kitchen floor, purchased from you.

What product's would you recommend for sealing and giving a satin/satin-gloss finish on honed slate?

Hello Katie

Satin or gloss sealing finishes are accomplished by using the LTP Ironwax range of products.

These are 'surface sitting' sealers and will therefore form a protective 'film' over the stone as opposed to 'soaking in' as the impregnating alternatives i.e. LTP Mattsone, LTP Colour Intensifier etc. LTP Ironwax is available in two options, LTP Ironwax Satin Sealer or the LTP Ironwax Gloss Sealer; both are suitable for use in a kitchen area. Surfaces sealed with the LTP Ironwax products will need to routinely cleaned with the LTP Floorshine to maintain the finish.
