Sealing Slate before Installing It

This would be quite time consuming to do but I suppose you could do it, we have never heard of anybody sealing slate tiles this way before.

It is always better to install the slate tiles, clean them & then seal them, it takes half the time to do & they will all be in situ then & sealing will be easy.

My advice would be to seal the slate after installation.
