How long do I have to wait after the first seal on my new slate tiles before I grout?

The drying time of the sealer does greatly depend on the ambient air temperature within the room.

Sealer applied in a cold room will dry slower than that applied in warmer conditions.

In general terms the sealer should dry within two hours but will not be fully resistant to spillages for approximately 3 days.

If in any doubt always refer to the manufacturers instructions.
