Grouting Chiseled Edge Slate Tiles
Is there a specific way to grout chiseled edge brazilian slate in order to prevent the grout filtering into the chipped layers?
The chiselled edge slate is a little more tricky to grout. The key to easier grouting is to but the tiles up as close as possible giving a lesser grout joint.
For best results you are advised to wipe horizontal over the grout joint rather than along it as you will remove more grout this way.
The key is to work on small areas at a time and remove as much grout from the chipped layers as much as possible.
Changing your water often will also result in quicker results.
