Can the 900x900x30 calibrated Brazilian black slate tile be finished like a hearth. I was wanting to sit a log burner on it.

A 30mm thick piece of Brazilian slate will be fine for use as a hearth for a log burner. Bevels and edge polishing can easily be applied to the relevant exposed edges using our 'Hearth Finishing Kit'.

Alternatively, we now have the facility to fabricate hearths in-house to your specific dimensions and can offer a number of edge finishes to suit.
