Can Sinai Pearl limestone be used outside?

We recently purchased Sinai limestone tiles for our kitchen and are very pleased with them. However we have more left than we anticipated. Would they be suitable to use outside on a patio area? We do have other options if not obviously they would get wet and look a bit different from the ones inside. Could you advise? If they were suitable please also advise on adhesive and grout same or different. Cheers

Hello Dan

The Sinai Pearl limestone is fine for use outdoors having been successfully tested under 'freeze thaw conditions'.

It is recommended that there is a damp proof membrane installed in the patio area and that the installation would follow the same fixing methods as it would should the tiles be being laid indoors i:e solid concrete base, white adhesive, seal before grouting and then again after etc.

If you should have any further queries, please feel free to contact our sales team who will be happy to help you.
