Why have some of my Brazilian slate tiles been delivered with cement on?

All of our Brazilian slate tiles arrive to us direct from the quarry having been wet cut. Any potential residue on the tiles when delivered will be a fine cutting dust left over from the production process.

We can assure you Geoff that nowhere during the production of the tiles or shipping have any of our natural stone products been in contact with cement. This residue if present, will easily rinse off with water and a sponge where needed.
