Privacy policy

Respecting your privacy

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

To process transactions

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested by the customer.

To send periodic emails

The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order or request.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order.

These security measures include: password protected directories and databases to safeguard your information, SSL (Secure Sockets Layered) technology to ensure that your information is fully encrypted and sent across the Internet securely, and PCI Scanning to actively protect our servers from hackers and other vulnerabilities with regular checks to ensure that our servers meet the requirements.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your card information (number, name, expiry date, CVV, etc.) is not stored on our servers.

How long we keep your information for

We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example when you place an order). We will hold your data on our systems for as long as necessary to complete your request or as long as is set out in any contract you hold with us.

Encryption

Our website now operates entirely under an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Certificate that encrypts the data between us and your computer. This is shown by the padlock symbol (typically shown in the address bar but can be elsewhere, depending on your browser) and the website address starts with https:// - by using SSL, your details, when you fill out a quote request or order, are encrypted which means that in the very rare chance of someone managing to intercept the data, they will not be able to read it nor decrypt it.

Orders placed on our system are paid for using our secure order area, when you enter your payment details we carry out basic checks to make sure you have entered the necessary details together with your credit/debit card details. We do not store or temporarily save your card details on our server. Our system will take what you enter, encrypt it using a high industry standard encryption (called 256bit AES) to then send the card details over to our payment processor, SagePay. This, together with our ongoing PCI Compliance, ensures that we are doing everything possible to protect your details whilst using our website.

Third party links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
