Shipping policy

Delivery Pricing

Your delivery will be despatched on a palletised delivery service from our warehouse in Knaresborough. The delivery rates are based on a price per pallet.

The delivery cost is worked out on a weight, and delivery postcode basis so to get an accurate price if you add the products you want to the basket and put your postcode in it will give you an instant price.

When your items are in your basket and you are ready to checkout, you can choose a suitable delivery date.

If this is before 11:30am, you will be able to select a delivery date the next working day.

After 11:30am and you will choose a delivery date within a window of the next 30 days.

Sample orders are based on 3-5 working days and are sent via Royal Mail in the 1st class post.

Delivery Information

When you place an order we book a provisional delivery date as per your request. If this delivery date is not convenient then we ask you to inform us (01423 396252) to re-arrange. We will ask you to confirm that there is access for a 17 tonne delivery vehicle (13m approximate length of vehicle, see photo for an indication of size) with a tail-lift and a pallet truck for moving the tiles and that the area being delivered to is a level, flat surface.

We do not offer a delivery service on weekends, bank holidays or periods when we are closed such as the Christmas break.

Orders placed before 11:30pm (Mon-Fri) are despatched the same day. Orders placed after 11:30pm are despatched on the next working day.

Restricted / Difficult Access

If you can only be reached by sharp bends, narrow carriageways etc. we request that you inform us when ordering, as alternative arrangements may be possible to get the goods to you on a smaller vehicle (this service may not available in all areas).

Deliveries using smaller vehicles may need to be shipped on additional pallets to comply with the reduced 750kg tail-lift weights, so additional charges may apply.

Important to note: If we are not made aware of any access issues and your delivery is attempted and fails for this reason, then re-delivery charges will apply.

Curb side Delivery

All of our deliveries are curb side only. The goods will be delivered to the nearest and safest point to your property so please ensure that you will be able to relocate the tiles should this be necessary. It is not the responsibility of the driver to do this.

Due to the weight of the crates they cannot be moved on gravel drives, mud etc. - only on hard surfaces.
 

Economy Service

The order will be delivered 3 working days from dispatch (Zones 1-6). The delivery company will try to call around an hour beforehand. Your order will be delivered Monday-Friday between 8.30am - 6pm.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide estimated times for the day of delivery and therefore ask that there is somebody available on site to sign for the goods.

Next Day Service

The order will be despatched the same day and delivered the next working day unless the order is placed after 11:30pm. Delivery times are between 8am and 6pm.

Re-deliveries

You or nominated person must be at the delivery address to sign for the order.

If no-one is available on site the order will be returned to the distribution hub and a further charge will be made before re-delivery.

Damages and Claims

In the event that there are damages on delivery (visually inspect the pallet when it arrives and note any obvious signs of damage to the exterior packing / pallet), please sign the delivery note as 'damaged' and call within 24 hours (or next available business day) to let us know so that we may arrange replacements or discuss an alternative resolution, photographic evidence of breakages will be required for any claim.

Delivery Delays

Although every effort will be made to honour the delivery date arranged with yourselves, we cannot be held responsible for any delays.

Every effort will be made to contact you if there should be any delays to your delivery; however as orders are all sent via a Pallet Network, this is not always possible.

Due to the delivery schedule being between 8.30am - 6pm it is not advisable to book any contractors or tilers for the actual delivery date.

We politely ask you to note that we will be unable to take any responsibility for any costs involved should trades people be booked and your delivery delayed.
