As well as being incredibly hard wearing and easily maintained, this slate has natural tonal differences ranging from mid grey through to charcoal to black ensuring that each tile is completely unique. It has a beautifully even riven surface as is inherent with slate from this origin and although it has a rougher texture than honed slate, it does look wonderfully rustic. Suitable for internal use and is especially great for bathrooms or wet-rooms due to its fantastic anti-slip rating. The 20mm or 30mm thicknesses are great for use outdoors and on hearths, copings and windowsills too. These tiles have straight machine cut edges to allow for easy jointing and calibrated backs for ease of fitting.
